Is salt organic?
Unfortunately there is no organic certification for salt in the United States because the USDA classifies salt as a mineral, not an organic compound. LA Salt is proud to say that all of the salts we carry are all-natural, which complies with organic standards. This means that our salts may be deemed organic compliant.
Does salt expire?
Salt does not expire. However, we recommend storing salt in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Is it safe to take sea salt baths every day?
Yes, it is perfectly safe to indulge in a therapeutic sea salt bath every day. Relax & unwind, your body will thank you!
What are the benefits of using bath salts?
The minerals in sea salt are absorbed through the skin when soaking in bath salts. These minerals help to detoxify the body, uplift mood & energy levels, promote muscle relaxation, and ease skin conditions. They also help to exfoliate the skin, leaving a soft supple finish. Regular use of sea salt baths has been proven to significantly reduce stress levels.
What's in your bath bombs and salt soaks?
Our signature bath bombs and salt soaks are blended with only the finest organic plant-based ingredients. We never use dyes or fragrances. We only use pure therapeutic grade essential oils, and the soft color in your bath is a result of the natural minerals & plant-based ingredients. In addition, we source our organic lavender buds from a local California woman-owned family farm.
Can I safely use bath bombs and/or salt soaks during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We recommend that you consult your physician prior to using bath bombs and/or bath salts while pregnant or breastfeeding. Since our signature bath bombs and salt soaks are blended with essential oils, it is highly advised that you speak with your physician of the risks and benefits of these while pregnant or breastfeeding.
How can I store my bath bombs and salt soaks?
We recommend storing our products in an airtight container or bag, out of direct sunlight & moisture.
What is the shelf life of your bath bombs and salt soaks?
While salt does not expire, we recommend using our signature bath bombs and salt soaks within 6 months of purchase due to the natural ingredients, as well as to enjoy the fragrance of the essential oils at their full potential. Please keep salt soaks tightly sealed in a dark, cool environment, away from moisture. Bath bombs should be kept in a dark, cool environment, away from moisture as well.
Am I allergic to bath bombs or bath salts? How will I know?
We recommend doing a small patch test when trying a new product. To check if you are allergic, simply soak a small part of your body in a mixture of the bath salt and water for a few minutes. If any irritation occurs, immediately stop use of the product and rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. For bath bombs, break a small piece of the bath bomb and follow the same instructions as above.

Unfortunately we do not ship internationally at this time.
Can I pick up orders from your Los Angeles warehouse?
Yes, we offer convenient customer pickup at our Los Angeles warehouse. Please let our team know upon order placement if you would prefer to pickup.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) for orders placed online, over the phone, or by email. For online orders, we also accept Apple Pay and Paypal.
When will my order be delivered?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Your order will be shipped once it is processed and you will receive tracking details upon shipment.
My product arrived damaged. What do I do?
While we package each order with great care, occasionally damage may occur in shipping. Please report any damage immediately to our customer service team at +1 (310) 769-5939.
I received the wrong product.
Oh no! If you received a product other than what was shown on your order confirmation, please give us a call at +1 (310) 769-5939 and we will be happy to assist you.
What happens if I refuse a shipment?
Shipments that are refused by the customer will be issued a refund for the amount of items in the order, minus any shipping costs paid by the customer and/or Los Angeles Salt Company. These fees include, but are not limited to, any costs incurred to ship the order to the customer, and the shipping company's costs to ship the order back to Los Angeles Salt Company. Please note that refunds will only be issued once the refused shipment has been received by Los Angeles Salt Company. If the total shipping costs incurred by Los Angeles Salt Company is greater than the amount paid for the product(s), you will not receive a refund.
What is your policy on cancellations?
Please call +1 (310) 769-5939 as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your order. We will do our best to accommodate any cancellation requests that have not been processed or shipped.
How do I make a return?
If you would like to make an exchange or return an unopened product, please contact our customer service team at +1 (310) 769-5939 or email email@example.com within 30 days of receiving your order. We cannot accept products that have been opened or used. Items may be exchanged only if they are defective or damaged. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Final sale items are ineligible for returns. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
If your return has been approved, it will be issued a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). Please clearly label the outside of the return shipping box with the RMA number provided. Returns made without prior approval will not be processed and no refund will be issued.
Please note: You will be responsible for all shipping charges to send the product back to our warehouse.

Approved refunds will be issued in the same form of payment in which the product was originally purchased. If the item being refunded was shipped for free and is not considered damaged or faulty, refunds will be issued less the amount of our cost to ship the product.
